Paid $200 + tip for the most badly done highlights I've had in 8 years. I was told someone would call me back when I got in touch for them to fix the situation, but was ghosted.

Blotchy, badly placed fluorescent strands, and a bleached spot right in the front are just some of the obvious issues. I knew something was up during the appointment when the woman doing my hair had to continuously consult with two other stylists on what to do and eventually brought in another woman to mix a toner shade for her to help rectify things.

Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I waited a week and did a couple of washes hoping things would settle, but no luck. Was also hopeful that they would do the right thing and intervene to fix the issues after I called. Save your $$ and go elsewhere.

I have naturally dark hair and have been highlighting my hair for years. The full head of highlights and hair cut I received from Svetlana was by far the best service I’ve ever received. So happy with the results! Also a very lovely salon with very nice staff.

Super kind welcoming staff. Exceptional service. Always on time. They use great products. Irina is beyond talented at haircuts. She also follows what you ask. I am on of these people who cant stand getting a haircut, but Jean Leon transformed my experience because they are efficient professional talented and kind.

Convenient location, professional haircut, great customer service!
I've been going to Jean Leon for a few years already. Love Natasha and Maya. But everybody are excellent there. They just moved to a new spacious location on 56st street which I love. I definitively recommend this place to anyone who wants to look younger after your haircut.
